Everything. The price you see when you select your dates includes the nightly rate, cleaning and applicable taxes. What you see at checkout is exactly what you pay — nothing is added after you book.
Soft, clear and surprisingly warm. The lake is a former magnesite mine — it drops to 1,400 feet, and that depth is why the water runs clean, with no algae and no silty bottom. Late-day sun falls directly on our shore and warms the water; it's the thing guests mention most. With no motorboats there's no wake, so the water stays calm. And if you want to explore, a larger stretch of the lake opens up straight from the water. Private dock, rowboat and paddleboards included, ready from the moment you arrive.
The house sleeps 8 comfortably across three bedrooms: a Red Room with 5 single beds, a Blue Room with a queen and a double, and a Master Bedroom with a queen. One bathroom is shared between all guests — something to keep in mind for larger groups.
During the 2025 renovation, by a professional photographer — nothing staged, nothing retouched. The heritage details, the lake view, the rooms: it's all exactly as shown. Our 21 five-star reviews come from guests who showed up expecting what they saw online, and left saying the same.
Check-in is fully autonomous. You'll receive your door code and all arrival details by email before your stay. No need to coordinate with anyone — arrive at your own pace after 4 PM. If anything comes up, we're always reachable directly.
Free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival. Within 14 days, the first night is non-refundable. We're also human — if something serious comes up, reach out directly and we'll work with you.
About 1 hour 15 from both, often less. Traffic is unpredictable, but we always recommend Highway 40 — wider, safer, and flowing smoothly the vast majority of the time.
